Operating across telecoms, digital services, e-commerce, and media, Jio's brand system needed to function at a scale few design challenges demand. The visual language had to be instantly recognizable, culturally grounded in the Indian context, and legible enough for designers, stakeholders, and platforms to apply consistently, without supervision.
The project was my first deep engagement with design automation, translating creative systems into software tools and plugins that could sustain brand consistency at scale. Atomic components, logo variations, color libraries, and accessibility-compliant UI elements were built not just to look right, but to integrate technically with the workflows of a team operating across many simultaneous outputs.
With a presence spanning so many sectors, the system had to flex without losing coherence, maintaining clarity and trust across both consumer-facing touchpoints and internal production infrastructure. The design brief was, in essence, scale itself.
